Investing in Growth: How a New Vehicle Helped Expand Our Small Business

 One of the most exciting parts of running a small business is watching it grow—and realizing it's time to invest in tools that help you go even further. This year, Property Tenders has taken on more handyman projects than ever before, opening the door to new clients and opportunities. But one of the biggest surprises has been how quickly our trash hauling and can management services became a major revenue stream.

With HOAs issuing fines for cans left out too long and homeowners hesitant to rely on renters, we found ourselves completing multiple trash-related jobs per day. That kind of volume made it clear: it was time for an upgrade.

We recently added a newer vehicle to our fleet, and it’s already transformed the way we operate. We can now split up our work, cover more jobs in less time, and still be home for dinner. As a husband-and-wife team, that flexibility matters.
